Bay of Somme

Bay of Somme

The Bay of Somme is a member of the "Most Beautiful Bays in the World" Club. Dunes and salt marshes mix into a fabulous landscape less than 200 km away from Paris.

Here, sky and sea are strongly connecting. Colours change in the course of days and seasons, from soft grey, beige and white to blazing sunsets in overwhelming skies. This rich silky sunlight has inspired many artists like Delacroix, Degas, Corot and writers like Jules Verne, Victor Hugo or Colette, and many others.
